Meet Adam Betancourt
I am a multidisciplinary artist with emphases in graphic design and photography, though I also draw, paint, write, act, edit, and direct.
I received my bachelor's degree in Design from The university of California, davis, in September 2023. since then i have continued to bolster my skills in pursuit of a career in design.
i am proficient at adobe photoshop, illustrator, xd (and figma), indesign, lightroom, premiere pro, and after effects.
i am moroccan-mexican-american, the first generation to be born in the united states on either side of my family. I was born, raised, and am currently presiding in Sacramento county. I am near fluent in french, and have decent comprehension of spanish and arabic.
in my free time, i like to read, practice the arts, and study film. some of my favorite works of literature are The count of monte Cristo by alexandre dumas, 1984 by george Orwell, and 100 years of solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Some of my favorite films are 8 1/2 by Federico Fellini, taxi driver by martin Scorsese, and portrait of a lady on fire by Celine sciamma.
